Our first group performed today. They did Wonderwall, originally by Oasis. There was clear evidence of progress made as musicians and a real sense of performance style as well. Well done!
Don't forget that you should have written a final paragraph, telling me what you enjoyed about this unit, what you would do differently if you could do it again, and finally, as we end our time in music - how will you continue to make music next year?

i know have so much hatred for this song i can no longer listen to it. it used to be one of my favourites, now i can't stand it! i had a lot of fun in this unit apart from getting sick to death of the song. at the beginning i could barely play the guitar and i have improved a lot! i really think that the unit was a very good idea because it enabled us to build on our music skills but have fun at the same time which, i think, we all did. probably the worst thing out of the whole project is after you have practiced the song 3 or 4 times in a row your fingers really start killing you. seriously. i enjoyed working with my group who were very cooperative and efficient but still fun at the same time. honestly, i can't really think of much else different to do next time. we chose a song which suited our skills, which were quite basic apart from lauren. maybe we could be a little bit more patient during practices and make the song more our own. although we changed a few of the chord patterns, the song remained basically the same. next year i am going to do drama but i will still try, at least, to teach myself songs.
