M1B Music
M1B are composing pieces using AABA form, and assessing each other. Here are some of them hard at work in the classroom:





HOMEWORK: Add a comment (click on the comment link below this post) and tell me how you felt when you were assessed by the others in your group. In what ways is it different (better? worse?) than just being graded by the teacher? Don't forget to leave your first name on the comment so I know who posted it! Our guiding questions are focused on how change and revolution in the 20th Century changed music as we know it.
From the rise and fall of Communism through US Civil Rights to current anti-war protest music.....
From the invention of electricity to the internet and music sharing sites....
What do you think have been the most important revolutions in music in the past 100 years?
Where might music be in another 100 years?
